Description of The Place To Be RV Park: The Place To Be RV Park started out as a simple idea in our minds over 18 years ago. After seeing our community continually expand the festivals and events that it has to offer to tourists and local residents, we (Jeff and Sonya Weathersby ) realized that areas available to travelers and campers was very limited. The fishing tournaments that come to town, for instance, result in "No Vacancy" notices at local and surrounding motels. The RV sites that were available were either very small (and simply did not offer enough space for any significant number of RV's) or were located 15 to 30 miles away from town.
